Birmingham will welcome Fulham to St Andrews for their match in the English Premier League that is an important fixture for Birmingham. This is the last time the blues will play at St Andrews as they play Spurs on the last day of the season at the Lane and three points are vital to keep them above the relegation zone. They are safe by three points at the moment but Fulham will be a tough fixture as they have lost last Monday to an in-form Liverpool team.
Birmingham City will be going against Fulham in their next match at home, as the Barclays Premier League gets underway into its game week 13. Birmingham City will be going into this match after a 2-2 draw against Liverpool in their previous match. Fulham too has also drawn its last match against Wigan Athletic 1-1. It is definitely an important fixture for both teams as its result will definitely be influential in the upcoming season for them.
Birmingham City has been in a poor form this season. They have been able to win only 1 from their last 6 fixtures. Currently placed in the 15th position with a meagre 12 points, a great task lies ahead of them if they want to end up this season on a respectable note. Last match too saw them take lead but a 71st minute penalty on them that proved fatal as they finished with a draw. Jerome has been the backbone for the Birmingham team thus far and he has been immensely supported by Benitez. Larsson on the other hand has made good use of his experience and instilled some good spirit in the team.
Fulham has shown some good performances in the recent past, registering 2 wins from their last 4. Placed 11th currently, they are showing some good build up as the season progresses. Fulham players have definitely done some exceptional work on the field that has upped their confidence to a whole new level. The team is more in sync with each other, and especially their counter attacking has been classical. Dempsey has been instrumental in their increasing strength, especially in the mid line. Their manager Roy Hodgson just needs to make sure that the players perform to their potentials and maintain their fitness levels.
