So it was important for Kim Kardashian to warm up for the event.

And of course the reality star showed off plenty of her curves and cleavage in the process.

Kim was spotted in a park in Miami, Florida on Saturday with members from her family as they prepared to compete in the Miami Dragon Boat Festival.

Wearing a low-cut exercise top, a pair of tight fitting leggings and matching long-sleeve jacket, Kim flaunted her most famous assets as she stretched out and did squats on the lawn.

She was joined by her mother Kris Jenner, who could hardly take the exercise seriously and continuously fell into fits of giggles.

Mother and daughter were also joined by Kim's sisters Kourtney and Kylie, her stepfather Bruce and best friend Jonathan Cheban.

Kim is rarely seen with a hair out of place or a crinkle in her pristine wardrobe.

But the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star ran the risk of several imperfections during the family day out on Saturday.

During the race, Kim swapped her usual designer wardrobe for some sporty attire and a life jacket.

And the reality star really put some muscle into the activity as she picked up a paddle and helped row the boat herself.

Kim raced alongside mother Kris and their friend Jonathan, but the trio lost to the boat captained by Bruce, Kourtney and Kylie.

And apparently Kim is a bit of a sore loser too, as she threw some rude gestures at her competitors following the race.

It was before the race that the teams were warming up with stretches and were shown how to paddle.

The entire Kardashian clan and Cheban also wore signature 'Dash' T-shirts from the sisters clothing store.

Throughout the day, Kim had her hair pulled back in a ponytail and wore some oversized aviator sunglasses.

She also showed off her deep tan, a result from some apparent over usage of bronzer.

On Friday, Kim looked more Jersey Shore than Keeping Up With The Kardashians with her orange appearance.

The TV star was seen typically putting on a show for the cameras, flicking her hair all over the place as if she was in a shampoo advert while standing over Kourtney and her partner Scott Disick as they finished lunch.

Frequently coming under fire for her dubious style choices, Kim didn't exactly do much better during the outing.

Kanye West's squeeze opted for a white top that hoped to accentuate her waist by pulling in at the middle, but resulted in bunched material around her bust to make her look top-heavy.

Although Khloe has been keen to stress she will feature in the eighth season of the family's show despite rumours of a X Factor hosting job threatening to intervene, her absence was noticeable during the family meal.

Perhaps she is busy romancing her husband though, as Kim took to Twitter on Thursday, writing: 'Happy 3 year Anniversary @KhloeKardashian & @RealLamarOdom! I love you guys!!!'

Khloe thanked her sister and fans, adding: 'Thank you guys so much for all of the positive love and wishes on Lamar’s and my anniversary yesterday! It truly meant the world to us... God bless you!'

Kim is on the opposite side of the country to where she normally resides in LA with her elder sister Kourtney as the pair shoot Kourtney & Kim Take Miami.

Organisers of the British Urban Film Festival, have teamed up with the specialist
film exhibitor Urban Screen to host the 1st UK screening of ‘Sparkle’ in
Central London on Thursday October 4. The announcement is the latest in a series
of coups for BUFF 2012 which has also secured the TV premiere of Aml Ameen’s
latest film short (“12” on October 8) on Community Channel as well as the UK
premiere of “Melvin: Chronicles of a Player” at TUC Congress House (on October
12). The UK premiere of Sparkle marks the first time that a BUFF associated
screening event will command box office admission and is being supported also by
BUFF 2012 sponsors, Vanessa Blake Cosmetics. Sparkle also marks Whitney Houston's
fifth and final feature film role before her death in February earlier this year.

Inspired by The Supremes, Sparkle is a remake of the 1976 film of the same name,
which centered on three singing teenage sisters from Harlem who form a girl group
in the late 1950s. The remake takes place in Detroit, Michigan in the 1960s during
the Motown era. The film stars Jordin Sparks (making her debut as an actress
having come to prominence as a former winner of American Idol), Derek Luke,
Whitney Houston, Mike Epps, Cee Lo Green and Carmen Ejogo.
