Project size 10- Part 2

Day 2 of ' Project Size 10'.

The first day I found harder than usual. Mainly, I think because it is winter and I didn't plan my meals ahead so everything I ate was cold and not 'comforting'. This is my first lesson learnt- Plan your meals in advance!
I also made another common mistake. I missed my breakfast as I was so busy with work which made me ravenous and grumpy by lunch time. Lesson 2- Make sure you have your breakfast!

Lets take a look at what I ate yesterday with the pitfalls.

Breakfast
Black Coffee
(as I mentioned missing breakfast meant that I did not kick start my metabolism fully until midday and left my moods 'grumpy' and my belly ravenous.

Lunch
Lean ham and salad
Green Tea
(This is a good lunch. Protein fills you up for longer and salad is full of the 'good stuff' we need for our bodies)

Dinner
Grilled turkey steak with steamed mixed vegetables
(Great choice if I do say so myself. No complexed carbs and full of vitamins and protein for keeping hunger pangs at bay.)

Snacks throughout the day:
Carrot sticks with humus.
Green, Mint tea's.
(again all good healthy snacks and the tea is calming and much better than filling up on caffeinated drinks. Hydration is important for flushing out the toxins in our bodies and keeping us fully functioning. It also means you will have better skin as you wont be clogging up your pores with all the 'bad stuff' found in sugary drinks and startchy foods).


So that was a look at yesterdays diet and I think apart from the two pitfalls with missing breakfast and not planning my meals ahead of time to suit the season, I give myself a pat on the back.

Today has started much better and I plan on going for my first dress fitting tomorrow!!....
